The commitment of RTVE.es is to create a unique space which offers the best material for children’s entertainment (videos, games and activities) in a safe environment and exclusively designed for children and their parents. With this idea in mind, RTVE.es has created a new children’s portal “Clan”, which includes a social network for children and in one month has had more than a million users. Aside from offering the best, free and legally approved audiovisual material through the Internet, the new children’s portal represents an “interactive social television” for children.

RTVE wanted an iPhone and iPod Touch application consisting of a live online news broadcast service completely free for its users and a way to access all of the news contents of its website. The application can be found under the name RTVE Noticias y Directos and has ranked number 1 in the App Store a few days after its launching. It has been downloaded by more than 50,000 users at a rate of almost 8,000 daily downloads and has an average rating of 4.5 points based on 5 points.

In this manner, this application is among the favorites for Apple and ranked number 1 in the top 25 free downloads for one whole week.

The series was created by Secuoyas and Vodka Capital with the 3D CGI technology. It is about the adventures of five friends, Bello, Rita, Mina, Goomo and Ongo, who live in a magical and remote planet called Jammbo where everything is music and the animals, plants and even the wind musically express themselves.

One of these actions consists of creating Calle 13 Kitchen, with terrifying dishes to be served in a good-quality restaurant with the Calle 13 atmosphere at its purest form. The restaurant of choice was that of the Room Mate Oscar Hotel in Madrid and the prepared menu was completely terrifying.
